Support for Student Parents Focus Group
About the Focus Group
The Support for Student Parents focus group worked towards helping student parents on campus. They worked with the Women’s Center of Ann Arbor, Sacred Rose Birthing Center, and the Towsley Children’s Center to figure out how to best help out local caregivers. They fundraised to buy baby products to donate to the Maize and Blue Cupboard, a local pantry that is used often by student parents.

It’s a group that doesn’t get thought about enough and doesn’t have enough resources allocated towards them.
About the Project
The Process:
We met with several organizations, listened to their suggestions, and organized a fundraiser.
Results:
Made $369 in a donut sale/facebook fundraiser; donated diapers, baby snacks, etc to M+B Cupboard
